Kenzoku is a family run club specialising in jiu jitsu and self defence. We teach modern day techniques based on the ancient art of the Samurai.
We use a wide variety of techniques including kicks, strikes, locks and throws using an attackers energy against them . All training is tailored to the individual based on age and ability.
You are welcome to just come and train for fitness and fun, or for those wanting more structured teaching you can follow our syllabus and take gradings up to the coveted black belt and above. We run six days a week teaching traditional , modern and sport jiu jitsu, fittness,japanese weapons training , grappling and ground work . Private classes are available on request.
Head Instructor:
Sensei Peter Brady, 5th Dan Black belt jiu-jitsu, 4th Dan kobujutsu, Brown/black belt shitoryu karate, and qualified competition referee.
First Aider (St Johns Ambulance)
35 years Goshin Ryu jiu-jitsu experience, Shotokan Karate, Judo, and Shito Ryu karate.
